I'm probably weird in that I've never seen the appeal in The Simpsons. I just never really got it, I guess.

See, all I've heard was that Season 2-5 were great and then if falls off a cliff after.

I'd say it's more like 2-9, 1 was weaker but 6-9 are in no way weaker than 2-5 IMO. and then like 10-13 are still alright but 14-20 or so fuckin' sucked and then it's actually been pretty decent since then, but with like no episodes that stand out anymore.

The Simpsons is my all time favorite show, I even enjoy the newer episodes of course they can’t compare to the earlier seasons but I still find them funny.

I like Dexter’s Lab but nowhere near as much as I like The Simpsons.

It sadly never stood a chance. I would've voted for it over a lot of these shows.
