AFL Football Tips 2012

This thread is to be used for AFL Football Tips 2012.

RULES

1. Every first match of the round, you are able to pick a margin. If two people get 8 right but one has the closest margin then they will be first. (If you select the correct margin you will get an extra point, but if you select the correct margin and the correct team then you will receive two points from that leaving you having three correct points for the one match)

2. Football Tips deadline are at 5PM AEST, One day before the first match of the round.

3. If you fail to do your tips, your tips will end up being all AWAY teams.

4. Sign Up here, I know the season doesn't begin until March but this is a great way to get it organized before we begin!

I am in, hopefully I will remember to post my tips each week.

By the way there are nine games each round this week so the max is nine. I like the sound of the rules and I look forward to winning

Should be great if we can get a fair few people, we do have a fair amount of Australians on the forums.

I think that half a dozen would be a good number to target. As you said there are plenty of Australians on the forum and there should be more when football starts since we keep getting new members each day.

That is true, I am looking forward to see people get involved this way the AFL Discussions can be heavily discussed about

I am sure that once it gets closer to the start of the season more people will join. The AFL thread will be busy anyway since there are quite a few of us that will be posting half a dozen times each week in there. Can't wait for AFL to be back on television again, looking forward to a cracking season.

No point trying to increase post count when the season is still a while away from starting. I'm keen for it to start, but I don't care to post any tips until it's a week before some matches are played.

We will do our tips on the site here. I will keep update.

Who's in? Everyone gets Sydney tip right, I'll allow that.

Correct Margin gets an extra point.

I cbf with margins. Pain in the ass. Definitely would've tipped Sydney too, but in saying that Giants did very well other than the 3rd Quarter.

I can't be bothered with margins either, I doubt that at the end of the year that the leaders will be tied.

Everybody obviously gets Sydney, so that leaves me with 5 as well. I picked Hawthorn, Adelaide, Essendon & West Coast. So really, it looks like this:
