Sorry for the double post, but this is a great article. Unrelated to the previous discussion, but it is still interesting at least.

Double posting is fine by me when it's something substantial like this so you don't gotta worry about it.

As for the article, I don't necessarily think it's that wrong but it just seems to me like a lot of "younger generation bad" that literally EVERY single generation has said about the one that came after them. He makes some decent points in the article that gives it more weight than just someone shitting on the younger generation normally would so I don't really wanna group him in with everyone that does it though, but I'd mostly argue that this generation is about the same as previous ones, people just look at their younger years through rose colored glasses. I can go into this in more detail tomorrow when I'm not on my phone, but just for kicks, here's a quote from Socrates from like the 400s BC: "The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room."
