I think so. Triple H doesn’t need a win and Batista keeps his heat for if WWE ever work with him again.
Retirements in WWE never last. Even if Trips loses, he’ll be back next year or the year after.
Pretty sure this is Batista’s last match so if he’s coming back down the line just to make special appearances, he doesn’t need heat

Yeah but the way it's billed I don't think they'd have hunter lose. I mean unless he wants to retire and wants Batista to be the one to do it.
Maybe not, but Trips needs a win even less. I’d do it even just so WWE can say Batista is undefeated against Trips. Just a fun stat for him.
He’s on TV every week; he’s not a special attraction
Unless Rock comes back to put Trips away, it may as well be Batista.
We got a few more years of Saudi Arabia shows that need him.
I guess I get where you’re coming from. But when a guy like Batista is on record of saying he wants Hunter to be his last opponent and he wants to “go out the right way” you know he’s doing the job
