PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- A Port St. Lucie teenager accused of beating his parents to death with a hammer and then hosting a house party for his classmates was involved in a jailhouse brawl, WPBF 25 News has learned.

Woodson Fluerine and a 17-year-old inmate face battery charges after a fight with Tyler Hadley at the St. Lucie County Jail.

Hadley is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of his parents, Blake and Mary Jo Hadley.

Port St. Lucie police said the 17-year-old used a hammer to bludgeon his parents to death in July, hours before he had a house party attended by dozens of his friends while the bodies were still inside the home.

According to a St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office report, Hadley agreed to give Fluerine cookies for his birthday but then ended up eating them himself.

That's when Fluerine got mad and attacked Hadley, the report stated.

The other inmate is accused of hiding the attack from guards.
