RVD was recently stripped of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship with the storyline reasoning being that Abyss attacked him and he was injured in the process. The real reason was that RVD has a contract where he only works a certain amount of dates and TNA was fast approaching that amount so needed him off telelvision.

I wasn't happy with the decision to vacate the title when he had had a match against Abyss for the title and they should have switched the title then. I would rather see the title change hands properly rather than unneccessarily vacating the title. The could still have had a tournament but instead for the number one contender spot.

Anyway enough of that, the title was created and so far here are the results: Jeff Hardy defeated Rob Terry, Kurt Angle defeated Doug Williams, Mr Anderson defeated Jay Lethal and Pope defeated Matt Morgan.

At No Surrender it will be Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson vs. The Pope. The winners of those matches will then face each other at Bound For Glory to determine a new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Personally I think that the final will be Kurt Angle vs Mr Anderson with Mr Anderson then winning the tournament and the title.

Who do you think will win?

I will go for a Angle V Anderson Final as well, with the predictable Kurt Angle win. The suprise would be to have Hardy as the next champion, but with this court case hanging over Jeff I hope they are not dumb enough to put the belt on him. Plus the current storyline would suggest than Angle is going to make the final at least to carry on his move up the top ten. Really its not a great final four, okay Kurt is fit to wear the title right now.

I too think it was lame the way they stript RVD of the title, and then they didn't even feature Abyss in the tournment, that makes no sense if you think about it.

Jeff is a liability at the moment and even though it is innocent until proven guilty I wouldn't have even had him get this far into the tournament. He is still pushed as a big name whereas I would have waited until his court case was settled before pushing him as a maineventer. Angle vs Anderson still seems like the direction that TNA are going. I am now leaning to Angle winning the whole thing due to the fact that he is in the top ten storyline and defeating Anderson and getting the title would finish that storyline.

If I were TNA I would not even have Hardy in the company, but there you go!

I would like to see the Pope face Angle as he needs the rub more, but that is unlikely. Trouble is TNA lacking fresh stars which this final four shows.
