Well meh idk. I mean they didn't use him to much when fans did care about him so it makes me feel they really don't care enough about him anyway. At this point I rather him go some other place.

I mean if WWE wanted him to they could make him go back to that, he isn't a big enough star to just do whatever without WWE allowing it.

I don't think WWE wanted him to be John Cena, but he did win the IC, MITB, World Heavyweight, etc.

WWE for the most part lets them do their thing unless they need them to do something specific like Kane. WWE isn't going to tell Ziggler he needs to cut his hair, die it platinum blonde, stop copying HBK, wear your stealing your girlfriend shirts again, or what have you. It's on Ziggler to get over and he's not.

WWE couldn't even get Rusev not to cut his hair. They don't have the power you seem to think they do.

WWE might have OK'd his changes, because they probably thought he knew his character enough to pull it off.
