The UFC looks set to make its Swedish debut in March 2012.

Earlier this year, the promotion was in talks with the Stockholm Ericsson Arena to stage an event. According to Swedish website Kimura.se that has now been set for March 28th 2012.

The website also reports that officials from the UFC office in London, England recently visited Stockholm to discuss aspects of staging an event there.

Fighters Only has been able to confirm that the UFC has a date booked in Stockholm, but it must be noted that the organisation has not made any official confirmation as yet.

The spread of UFC worldwide is incredible. They are lucky that they keep buying organisations so they can get more top fighters under the UFC umbrella to sell more shows. I wonder when the tipping point will be though because eventually it will be UFC overkill.
