So since there is a nice little discussion going on in another thread let us assume tomorrow or later today it is announced that Daniel Craig would no longer be portraying James Bond.

It is your mission to cast the next Bond and give your reasons for casting that individual.

He could certainly do the role some justice.

Why not deviate from the norm and cast the first black James Bond. Don't think I'm crazy either, there's been rumors for more than a year now that Idris Elba is in the running for the role. If that turns out to be the case, I'd be very happy since the guy is an awesome actor and certainly someone who'd be up to the task. Current Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln would be another guy I'd consider, just given his proper accent and ability to be rough.

I still think he could do a serious role.

I know the last time there was a search for Bond Clive Owen was getting alot of attention to be bond but since then I don't think he could do the role well enough.

Personally I think Owen is too ugly for the role, but he's a great actor.
