Really because I thought Cyclops and Jean dying made it much more interesting. Also when Logan and Storm had a breakdown when Charles died... Classic

How is it interesting that there's almost nowhere they can go with the story now that their main team is gone. What you don't understand is X-Men is an ongoing saga of stories and the Summers are needed for most of them all.

well, to be technical, nobody knows if Cyclops is really dead either, they never showed him die they just implied it, you never saw him disintegrate like Prof X did and all you saw as his floating glasses, so they could bring him back as if Jean's love for him saved him from Phoenix

There is a lot of potential for this movie, they've done a lot with the series so far. Let's just hope they keep it on the main path... I can see those who are dead returning due to the talk of time travel... stopping the foreseen events. I can also see the powers coming back because a serum isn't going to completely change someone's genetics. I say we will see a little bit of both in this one if they want to make it any good at all.
