WWE celebrating Rey Mysterio's 20th anniversary of his debut with #MonthOfMysterio

This Monday marks 20 years since Rey Mysterio first made his WWE debut on SmackDown. Since that night, The Ultimate Underdog has accomplished it all, from waging in-ring classics and elevating the craft of sports-entertainment, to winning the top prize in the land, the WWE Championship.

In addition to celebrating Mysterio’s 20-year milestone this Monday on Raw, WWE will recognize the legendary luchador throughout the #MonthOfMysterio on social media. I know that they’re only doing it next week because it’s on the actual day, but it would have made more sense if they had something like this in his hometown two weeks ago. I know that a few years ago it was made official that June 19th is Rey Mysterio day here in San Diego since the date is 619.

Anyway, good for Rey. One of my all time favorite performers.
