I honestly think he didn't need interference for Jey Uso, and hell probably not even for LA Knight. Definitely not for Sami Zayn.

I’d say needing it for Sami worked. He had extra power being the hometown crowd and everything gave him extra strength and motivation which to me is a good explanation. With Jey I’d even say it’s needed being Jey was the first person to ever pin him, and the first to pin him since like 2019.
