Up until a few days ago, WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena was still being advertised for this Monday’s post-Battleground RAW from Miami but he has been pulled from the listings. Cena will not be there as he has to be on the set of the Trainwreck movie that he is appearing in.

This could be seen as a sign that Cena will drop the title at Battleground on Sunday. While it has not been confirmed or even rumored that is the plan, there are a lot of people who feel it’s time to “pull the trigger” on Roman Reigns and give him the title on Sunday.

With Brock Lesnar scheduled to return on Monday’s RAW, it will be interesting to see how they use him with Cena gone.

They might use the angle that Brock injured him if "Plan C" is used at Battleground.

Nothing about Cena filming the movie Trainwreck indicates that he'll be dropping the title tonight at Battleground. They likely wouldn't have bothered giving him the championship at Money In The Bank in the first place if he were gonna drop it at a B-PPV like Battleground the following month (and they would have already long known by then that he'd be filming a movie around this time, as there's only been three weeks from then to now.)

At worst, Cena might miss a Raw or two leading up to Summerslam (possibly due to a Lesnar beat down), but that's it. Remember that The Rock filmed a reality TV series during the six-week buildup to Wrestlemania 29, but he was still able to appear on Raw half (or right over half) of the time.

Plan C is obviously Lesnar, I still think Cena will retain, they'll probably explain why Cena isn't there and Triple H is gonna cut a promo with Lesnar announcing the Summerslam WWEWHC title match and maybe a stipulation with him as the guest ref.
