Crimes against the originals.

Mine:

Britney Spears - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
Anastacia and Celine Dion - You Shook Me All Night Long (JUST. NO!)
Hillary Duff - My Generation ("hope I DON'T die before I get old". 'Nuff said)
That dubstep remix of Eleanor Rigby (WHY?!)
Rob Zombie - Blitzkrieg Bop ("Ramones" and "slow" do not go together).
A random band's cover of "Holiday" by Green Day I heard live once (off-key much?)

More to come as I remember them.

I haven't really heard enough covers to really put in my full 2 cents, but all these musician's bring their own special touch to the song. Although, I do not agree with any of these people! In terms that they should not attempt covers of such classic songs. :p

The All Saints cover of Under the Bridge, it's just awful. As a huge fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers hearing that version just murders my ears.

Google any type of reality singing show, and you're bound to find some of the worst covers ever. Can't think of any off the top of my head, but as a fan of the shows, every week there is at least one, and usually multiple, just terrible covers haha.

Limp Bizkit's "Behind Blue Eyes" comes to mind.

Agreed on Behind Blue Eyes, but I used to kinda dig Smooth Criminal.

MJ's original Smooth Criminal isn't very good. Then again, I'm not a big fan of MJ's sound. I like the Alien Ant Farm cover.

I to enjoyed the AAF cover and I to hated Behind Blue Eyes.

U2 and Greendays cover of Working Class Hero isn't really terrible, but it just doesn't come close to being as good as the orginal.
