Hi all,

I just want to introduce myself to those who don’t know me or those who don’t know me well as it has been a while since I’ve been staff anywhere. I’m Order (Luke in real life), a journalist based in London in the UK with an obsession with all things BTB and wrestling.

First off, I’m delighted to be part of this section and I fully intend on carrying on the WC legacy and making WS the place to be when it comes to BTBs.

Over on WC I oversaw the BTB section between 2014 and 2018 and enjoyed my time in the role immensely. With my work situation at the time, I had to step down, but I now have more freedom with my hours and can be around here a lot more.

I’m probably most known for my New Vision BTB which is still active today after starting it in 2013, with a big gap of a couple of years in the middle, and you’ll see I fully intend on carrying that on.

Anyway, enough about me. I want to breakdown what will be happening from my end immediately:

THE PLAN

• OCTOBER - New rules and helpful hints thread to go up in the next week​
• NOVEMBER - New BTBOTM award format from November 1​
• DECEMBER - End of Year Awards shortlists and voting​
• JANUARY 2023 – End of Year Awards results​
• FEBRUARY – BTB Life Stories – In-depth interview series with a prominent member of the section (probably two or three of these a year)​
• King of BTB Tournament (Time to be decided if there is a genuine interest)​

WHAT DO YOU WANT?

Now I am asking you for any suggestions. I’m not saying they will happen but what would you like to see in this section?

After all, it is the members that will make this place a special place to be!

A little late to the party but glad to have you on board. You ran a tight ship and when you weren't running, you were still extremely helpful to people who were less good at running a section (that means me, not a knock on WB at all haha).

Dude, I had no idea you were a journalist. Must take some effort to write for a living, and then write this on the side.

Was just thinking along the lines of a suggestion to maybe help freshen up and add some depth to the BTB interview a little. Status quo is to kind of just have the mod/person running the interview ask a standard set of questions, which is fine and basically how it has always been done. But could be a cool addition to maybe announce who the interviewee is ahead of time, and then potentially utilize Discord (my understanding is no pm system here) for members of the section to also provide questions they want to be asked. For example, if you were being interviewed, maybe I want to ask you a specific question about your execution of an angle or a character in New Order.
