Things have been looking up for TNA wrestling in the last few months they have produced a number of good ppv's back to back, the pushes of the likes of Austin Aries and Magnus show
promise, there at last seems to be some forward planning as displayed in the pushing of The Bound for Glory series and to a lesser degree The Aces and 8's saga (which could go either
way for me but is at least intrgiuging) and Impact the show used to support the big events has improved also. However this lackluster edition should be a reminder that the old TNA
could pop its ugly face up at any time. Point is this Impact was the last before a PPV and the broadcast did next to nothing to promote said show, here's why.

Seems TNA are ready to take a leaf out of WWE's play book and drive us all mad by shoving the world of Twitter down our throats. They did so here in the form of Bully Ray who opened
the show to hype said twitter as well as his BFG series match with James Storm later in the night, the main purpose through was to carry on the whole 'is James Storm behind the Aces and
8's and their attacks'? Ray in more comic mold at first claimed that he had gathered enough evidence to prove that Storm was behind the group, Storm came out to confront his accusion
but didn't get far before they were both interupted by A&8 who were on appeared on the video screen, a memeber of the group spoke in a muffled voice and said that Sting had granted
them excess for the night but that they would show up whenever they pleased. For some reason Ray seemed convinced that this proved Storm's guilt don't ask me why.

The Pope cut a naff promo to hype his BFG series match at Hard Justice in which he said his name about seven times!

Rob Van Dam beat Magnus in a sloppy Bound For Glory series match to pick up the first seven points of the evening. Van Dam who won with the Five Star Frog Splash is really starting to
show his age. Mr. Anderson provided guest communtary for the match and just mumbled about nothing of any value.

In an interview Robert Roode claimed that there might be something in the contract for his TNA Title match with Austin Aries at Hard Justice that might prevent him from signing it later in
the night.

Kazarian and Christopher Daniels retained The TNA Tag Titles against Garett Bishoff and Devon in a poor match following a lame belt shot finish. The match was just too rushed and the
challengers just too useless for the Kaz and Daniels to do much with them.

Robbie E stood in the ring wearing a Pink Sweater and just repeating over and over that he took five points of Jeff Hardy a few weeks back in a BFGS match this predictbly brought Hardy
out who after chasing E down was power bombed through a table by his body guard Robbie C. This feud is the pitts.

On his way to the ring AJ Styles claimed that he could not have had a drunken one night stand with Claire Lynch because he doesn't drink and besides how bad would someone have to be
at sex for you to have forgotten about it the next day? WTF! How dumb did that line make AJ sound?

Kurt Angle pinned Styles following a Angle Slam in a gripping BFGS match which the crowd were really into. The only down point watching on TV was the constant cutting to the crowd with
shots of Claire Lynch basically at the start and throughout the match Claire suddernly showed support for AJ, but then after she reached out to him post-match and Styles just walked away
Lynch had that scary look on her face again. Please god make this stop:argh:

Another E&8 video aired at which point Anderson made a threat to Storm over what would happen if he did turn out to be the person behind the group.

Miss Tessmacher pinned Gail Kim in a mess of a none title match. Part the problem was that with Kim on the offense most of the match that the champions selling was just too bad, she is much better
when on the attack. Post match Madison Rayne came out and gave referee Earl Harbner another kiss. This is so dumb, apart from suggesting that if Earl is the ref at HJ that he might favour the
challenger. Also would it not just be logical for TNA just to appoint another official for to advoid that problem?

In a heated contract signing Roode revealed that he would not agree to the match with Aries sunday as there was a clause in the contract stating than should he lose he would not get another title
shot while Aries was the TNA Champion. However Aries managed to convince Roode to shake on a verbal agreement where Aries also put up his right to a rematch should he lose.

Bully Ray defeated James Storm with a Bully Cutter in a passible main event to claim seven BFGS points. Post-match E&8 appeared for the final time on the video screen and told Bully that this was not
he would be seeing more of the group at Hard Justice. The show went off the air with Ray once again pointing the figure at Storm.

Best Match: Angle VS. Styles

Worse Match: Tessmacher VS. Kim

Best Segment/Angle: Roode/Aries contract signing

Worse Segment/Angle: Robbie E/Jeff Hardy

Show Rating: 4/10
