Sting's jump to WWE

Lady Redfield

Itchy tasty
After avoiding the 'top company in wrestling' with the feeling he never needed it (which he didn't, tbh), how did you feel when he joined WWE? Were you disappointed that he finally caved? Do you think it would have been better if he just stayed the biggest WCW star that didn't have to make the jump? Did you just not care?

I know he was in TNA and some other promotions, but, being the most known for his WCW days, I think most people would tie him to that first.

I liked it.....should've happened years before he finally did.

All those wasted years rehashing Hogan and Jarrett shit.

Also....if Vince had Sting instead of Warrior.....he would've been even bigger than Warrior was at his peak, and Vince would've found his Hogan replacement because Sting was easier to deal with and more relaible.

He shouldn't have bothered to do anythin' besides outside the ring stuff seein' how awful his short run was.

Of course, bein' more of a Triple H and WWE mark, I did like seein' Sting lose only to put another nail in the coffin of WCW.

Apoho Creed

I'm the Doctor
Sting was my guy in WCW from his Neon Face Paint, his Crow Days, to even during his NWO Wolpac fetish I was behind him. Now if I remember correctly WWE tried to court him in the 90's and of course after WCW closed to come over and he was not really feeling the direction of WWE vs WCW/TNA at the time. So when he finally signed it was past due for a guy who was a Icon in a TNA Company that had been floundering for Years by that point. I still think Sting should of defeated Trips at Wrestlemania yes he went down his Shield, but shit man it would of been a even better if Sting would of had his hand raised in victory.

Lethal

Tiffy Time
It was surreal and I loved his debut, but, it all fell apart from then. He only wrestled 3 times iirc, with 2 of them losses and 1 of them a DQ win. He should've beaten Triple H at Mania.

TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION
I'm sad that he only came so Vince could take the shovel out and bury WCW one last time

Was 13 years too late.

When he came in at the end of 2014, people wanted him to work Taker at Mania. But that match lost its mystique and appeal to me once the streak was gone.
