CHARACTER HISTORY
Slate Bass is a man of many faces. From being the owner of various nightclubs, he once was known as the "Head Pimp in Charge" in a prior life. Since then, Slate has evolved into a methodical, ruthless yet reasonable, and perhaps superior, form of himself. He has come to be known as the most "TORN" man in existence, but what he is torn between is known only to himself, his wife Eden, their peculiar two-year old daughter Keres, and the extremely limited few he allows into his circle. His most controversial moniker was perhaps that of co-owner of the company "Liberty or Death Wrestling", which had to shutter its doors during the pandemic out of an abundance of safety and travel issues. Having been in, and main eventing some, companies the likes of NGW, IWT, and holding the accolade of being the longest reigning champion in RWK before its mysterious and controversial closure, Slate Bass is no stranger to the limelight. Slate Bass and Eden have left broken spirits, broken bodies and broken minds in their wake throughout their adventures. Slate has wrestled all across the globe, traveling first class between his home in [REDACTED], California and various other locations, going through quite possibly all there is to go through in the sports entertainment industry. From straight up wrestling, to deathmatches, to cinematic matches, he has experienced and succeeded in all. Some may see him as unbridled evil, some may see him as a hurt man struggling to do his version of good, but regardless of how this tortured soul is viewed, he is respected and feared by most. As previously mentioned, Slate Bass and his wife Eden once founded "Liberty or Death Wrestling" in New Hampshire as a way of dominating a new frontier, keeping their careers contained within the states (for the most part) and to continue influencing destiny. With their dominance, and mysterious ways, cemented across the globe, Slate Bass, along with Eden, re-emerge after a significant amount of time away to continue telling their stories, playing their games and unleashing their twisted form of "fate" upon a new roster of toys. Although not having an outright desire for championship gold, if it is in his path, he will seize it if he pleases...or at least make sure his opponent won't be carrying it for much longer.

In his right hand he holds a Martini glass (filled with different drinks each time, depending on circumstance)
while his left hand is in the left pocket of his slacks. He stands for a few seconds and calmly walks down the ramp as the lighting becomes a dark shade of purple.

Pierce Donovan: (Commentary mentioning his drink of choice)

Once he reaches ringside, Slate downs whatever is in his Martini glass,
and places it on the apron for the camera to focus on as he enters the ring.

Jasper Phoenix: (Commentary about how eerie and uncomfortable Slate's lack of emotion is)

Once in the ring, he takes his suit jacket, vest and button down shirt off
before standing in the corner with his hands in his pockets.

CHARACTER HISTORY
Eden is the wife of Slate Bass and was the woman that completely changed his life, bringing him from the island of irrelevancy that was his past life, into the light of dominance. By his side almost every waking moment, she is arguably leagues more dangerous and manipulative than Slate could ever be, without needing to step into the ring...unless she wants or needs to. Her mind and methods know no bounds, she is truly the essence of indiscriminate neutral evil, fair in what she does to all, finding joy in both the success and misfortune caused by her and Slate. Her goal is to bring about the greatest potential or greatest downfall of all those she comes across, by any means necessary. Having a great business sense is also well in her wheelhouse as she was so-owner of "Liberty or Death Wrestling" before its doors closed. She is also the mastermind behind the "Garden of Eden" cage-deathmatch, one of the most sadistic creations known to the wrestling world. It has ended two careers and almost cost her the love of her life, and he was on the winning end of that match. Now being a mother to her two year old daughter Keres, her more loving and motherly side has reared its head, but this makes her no less of the fearsome woman she was prior to the birth of her and Slate's demon seed. The "TORN Universe" she has crafted and sewn together is perhaps the strangest, most peculiar and dangerous thing any person can experience. You do not want to get sewn into her distorted reality.

At 10 seconds into her music, Eden appears on the stage under a slowly transitioning orange and red light (either with her hands on her hips or holding her child Keres, depends on the situation). She pulls a rose from behind her back and licks the stem as the camera zooms in on her face.

Reina de la Cruz: Ladies and Gentlemen, From an Undisclosed Location in the state of California, please welcome "The Seamstress of Reality" Eden!

She bends down and places the rose at her feet. Coming back to a standing position, she keeps a seductive look on her face as she stares down the camera the entire walk to ringside. Once ringside, she slowly circles the ring (if holding her child Keres, she gently places her in a seat by the time keeper before she continues circling the ring), ending back on hard-cam side.

Pierce Donovan: (Commentary mentioning her devious aura)

She hops up and sits on the apron then lays back in a seductive manner before suddenly pulling herself sideways under the bottom rope.

Now in the ring, she leans in the corner, with her arms crossed and a devilish smirk on her face.
