Pillman in a close one.

Volkoff and Iron Shiek were heat magnets in the 80's, but Pillman was ahead of his time.

Volkoff was a great talent, but Pillman was one special guy that did not to show the world what he can truly do. RIP

Volkoff was a great foreign heel. Singing the National Anthem was close but the Loose Cannon owned in 3 promotions in a stretch of months. Pillman for me.

Both had big impacts, but Pillman's loose cannon was just so origanal and convincing, and took his career as a character at least to the next level.

It takes more than a gimmick sometimes to be a great heel so that why I went with Pillman here. His personality and overall character when he got the chance to let it shine through was always awesome.

I just remember his ECW debut. The ECW crowd was waiting for the Loose Cannon to show up there from WCW and when he showed up they gave him a hero's welcome. But to go from all that love to having them despise them? Now that takes talent.

Not only that but his short stint in ECW where he did not have ONE match... but because he was so good had ECW wanting to sign him, WCW wanting him back, and WWF wanting him. He had the big 3 of wrestling wanting him just because of how good he was and he didn't have to have a single match. Now THAT is talent.
