I did something similar with creating a stacked Be a Pro mode where I had other prospects to compete with. But, I'm in a Franchise mode mood and the biggest part of the mode is drafting prospects and seeing them become franchise faces. So, that is where you guys come in. To spice things up, I'm going to add several players inspired or created by you guys in the mode. I'll put them in either the 2023 or 2024 draft class so they can potentially be selected by my team (who I am considering doing a Relocation of the Arizona Coyotes because END THE SUFFERING!) or a rival and F me over.
So here is the sign up template. And I will provide you guys with information required to fill it in. You don't need to be a big hockey expert to fill it in.

Other information:
Positions:
In hockey, there are five positions. Centre(Center), Right and Left Wing, Defense (Right and Left) and Goaltender. The forward positions (Center and the wings) are more than likely down closer to the opponent's net. The center plays up the middle and takes face-offs with the wings playing on their respective sides. Defenseman stay back and, well, play defense. But it does not mean they can't get on offense as some players like Erik Karlsson and Cale Makar have shown that defense is only part of the job and continue in the offensive end as well. The goaltender is the man in the mask, the puck stopper. If you give your player a secondary position, you can only give them a secondary position which fits their style. So A center can be right or left wing and vice-versa, a Defenseman can play on the other side. Goaltenders are only goaltenders.
Junior Teams:
Before making it to the NHL, one common path many players take is playing hockey in junior, which in this game is the Canadian Hockey League. It is split between the Ontario Hockey League, the Western Hockey League, and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
If you guys don't want to select it, leave it blank and I'll pick one for you.
Play-Styles:
https://nhlguides.net/player-builds/
This site here has a link to all the play styles in the game and gives you a basic breakdown on how they play on the ice. Pick the one you think will be fun. They obviously apply to certain positions so keep it in mind.
X-Factors:
In the game, X-Factors are abilities and strengths your player shine at. It seperates players more who might be a certain overall and play-style as one player, but they have different strengths. Your Zone ability is your best one while the superstar abilities are not quite as good, but still strong. This is optional.
