Colt Cabana defeated Adam Pearce to win the NWA championship at the NWA Championship from Wrestling TV Taping in Hollywood, CA.

Adam Pearce was in his third reign as NWA Champion and this current reign was for nearly an entire year. Colt Cabana is a good choice in my opinion since he is a regular on the indy scene, he is a well known name so he can draw a good crowd and most importantly he can wrestle.

I did not even know NWA was still around. I am happy for Colt though. He has been due for a world title for a long, long time.

I'm a fan of Scrap Iron's work but Colt is a good choice for his replacement. He is a very solid wrestler and much more of an attraction than Pierce was. Makes sense.

Pearce i couldn't stand once he got powers which he shouldn't of had; It royally screwed Ring of Honor over in many aspects which was annoying... Once I haven't seen any good matches with him apart from the CZW wars :/...

Colt Cobana winning the NWA Championship is pure win though.

I am pleased for Colt, but am not really a fan of his anymore, however I can see why it would be a good move for the NWA.
