- Last week WWE had a tentative WrestleMania line-up written that included John Cena vs. The Miz for the WWE Title and Randy Orton vs. CM Punk.

No word yet on what this means for their plans for the Punk vs. Cena program that is currently going on but with two pay-per-views between now and WrestleMania, it would be hard not to have a Punk vs. Cena match before WrestleMania, depending on how they planned to do the angle with Nexus involved.

Obviously things will be changed depending on Cena's injury.
Wonder where the Orton/Punk stuff came from even though I'm sure this report was just guessing on that.

Cena/Punk at Wrestlemania would be great, whereas Miz/Orton i don't really have much interest in. That's probably just because i'm bored with Orton though.

Still, i'm surprised they would even think of only having one Cena/Punk match before Mania, this is a fued i believe has loads of potential and could easily be carried on even past Mania.

For the sake of not overdoing the feud I wouldn't mind it if they didn't make them have so many matches in the feud. If they could somehow hold off a 1 on 1 match with these two till mania that would be great.

Cena's injury should keep him out of the ring for a month or so, so that should help limit the physical action between them from now until Wrestlemania, so i wouldn't be too worried about them overloading the fued (a blessing in disguise?)

True while the injury could end up not being that serious it'll probably be enough for them to make sure he limits his in ring time so he doesn't end up missing any of the feud. They could easily just have interaction in the royal rumble which would help make that match interesting, and then also have it in the chamber match too assuming WWE doesn't have world title plans for either.

I'd rather the title stay out of the Cena/Punk program. It would sap all interest out of the probable Miz/Orton match.

I think Orton was scheduled to be the next target after Cena for Punk because of his past actions, and that Cena was scheduled to face Miz so that they would both come full circle from when their feud first began a year ago.

Only thing I wouldn't like about that is that either the Cena/Punk feud would be too short or Orton/Punk could possibly be half assed. I kind of do want to see Cena/Miz for the title but Punk/Cena would def be the better match.

Do you really think Miz vs Orton and Punk vs Cena would be better matches than Miz vs Cena and Punk vs Orton overall?

I'd guess that they would begin building those feuds at the chamber if the rumor is true.

Nah when you match up like that the 2nd set looks better. However I think Cena/Punk could be better than Punk/Orton. Despite that both could be great matches as when Punk/Orton worked together they did well.

Punk/Orton and Cena/Miz certainly have bigger backstories to them, which is great for WM heat, but the chance for an extended Punk/Cena program is too good to pass up and should be the route taken.

Dirtsheet writer 1: Hey guys, I got this totally hilarious New Years prank! Let's make a report about the 2 biggest fueds on Raw, switch one guy to the other fued and say it's the current plan for WrestleMania!

Dirtsheet writer 2: DUUUUUDE!

I don't need that stupid stale no-selling bastard to squash Punk. If Orton/Punk does happen at WM27, I ain't watching.
