The Premier Carnivale Touring Company "American Wrestling Territories" have managed to get 1896 Olympic Silver Medalist Georgios Tsitas and Canadian Light Heavyweight Eugene Tremblay onto their circuit. Tremblay will be allowed to finish his circuits in Canada, whilst Tsitas has moved to the United States and will be available for AWT.

THE CARNIVALE IN FEBRUARY:

This Carnivale was a special one. This was the set up for the first Worlds Heavyweight Championship Tournament for March, which was to feature men from all around the world. With Tom Jenkins already joining, we were gonna find out three more men on this Carnivale Tour.

Minerva vs May Morgan
World Women's Championship

Another encounter between The Strongwoman and The Lady Innovator. As of this point, Minerva had been an unstoppable Women's Champion. This bout would last for around 3 hours before Minerva finally put down May Morgan.

Evan Lewis vs George Kennedy

A typical affair between one of AWT's top heels and an up-and-coming Canadian Promoter. Lewis was the odds on favorite, choking out Kennedy within 2 hours.

John Piening vs George Deslongschamps
World's Heavyweight Championship Qualifier

Piening vs Deslongchamps was one of the longer matches on the card. Deslongchamps was popular with the crowd, which made this a clear-cut win for him.

Yusuf Ismail and Nurulah Hasan vs Dick Pennell and George Bothner
World Tag Team Championships

The Turkish Invasion had called out any wrestlers to challenge for their Tag Team Titles at this event and who better than Pennell and Bothner. This was a clean cut win for the heels, with them making their first defense with the titles in 1900.

George Hackenschmidt vs Colonel J.H. McLaughlin
World's Heavyweight Championship Qualifier

Hackenschmidt vs McLaughlin was next. Hackenschmidt was one of AWT's Top Attractions and for good reason. He would beat McLaughlin to move to the 8-Man Tournament next month.

Martin Burns vs Kara Osman
World's Heavyweight Championship Qualifier

The final match of the tour. Burns was one of the top guys against The Turkish Invasion, making this a fitting match. And Burns would take down Osman, being the final man on the AWT Side in the Tournament.

Wrestling News:

Stanislaus Zybysko joins the AWT.

THE WORLDS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDERS

AWT:
Tom Jenkins
George Deslongschamps
George Hackenschmidt
Martin "Farmer" Burns

Foreign:
Stanislaus Zybysko (Poland)
Chirag Ali (Pahelwani)
Solly Smith (Mexico)
Taro Miyake (Japan)

THE CARNIVAL IN MARCH

World Title Tournament

The eight men offered the opportunity for the World Heavyweight Championship would compete throughout the month to see who'd be in the finale.

"The Russian Lion" George Hackenschmidt would put down Mexico's Solly Smith while Tom Jenkins managed to beat George Deslongchamps.

In the match between two of the foreigners, Stanislaus Zybysko came on top over Taro Miyake.

Martin Burns would beat Chirag Ali to end off round one.

In the next two rounds, Tom Jenkins somehow beat Hackenschmidt while Burns beat Zybysko to move to the finale.

And once all was said and done, Martin Burns had beaten Tom Jenkins with the Full Nelson to be crowned the Worlds Heavyweight Champion.

World Women's Championship

The unstoppable Strongwoman Minerva would be poised with the challenge of Fannie Gorman. But, Minerva persevered by hitting Gorman with her patented Powerslam.

OTHER RESULTS
The Turkish Invasion (Ismail and Hasan) def. George Kennedy and Professor Thiebaud Bauer
Frank Gotch def. Kara Osman
Big Billy Clayton def. Mort Henderson

NEWS

The Second Terrible Terk, Ahmed Madrali has joined the AWT Circuit, to be paired with the Turkish Invasion.

Ernest Roeber beat Tom Cannon to win the European Greco-Roman Heavyweight Championship

Joe Edwards beats Tokugoro Ito to win the Japanese Heavyweight Championship

Chirag Ali, Solly Smith, and Taro Miyake all head back to their respective homelands, but AWT would be interested in bringing them back.
