Big Butters Battle Results Part One

The first Big Butters Battle marks the end of the first fully week of wrestling within the World Prediction Championship and we begin by looking out out International Division. Predictions for AAA: Retro have been counted and verified and I can verify that fifteen people predicted for the entire event. The five matches will be added to the overall count for the entire event, but with the AAA event being the only event in the International Division - I am now able to update the standings for the first time this season.

Big Butters Battle Results Part Two

The prediction for both the MLW & HOG event have been counted, with only one match scrapped due to a change in opponent. The ten matches will be added to the overall count. Both events relate to the American Indie Division - I am now able to update the overall American Indie Division standings (the results from this event are added to the previous Japan standings) and see whether Fourth has retained their belt or if a new champion has been crowned.

Every match matters in the prediction games and in a world of differential your losses are just as important as your win. In this case what allow Fourth to become the American Indie Champion, doesn't protect him a he has now accrued more loss than our new leader in the American Indies Division and therefore the new champion of the belt. Big Butters Battle Results Part Three

It was announced at the start of the season that a new belt the WPC King of the Mountain Championship would be introduced to the competition.

This belt is awarded at the end of each calendar (an event will be marked as such) to the predictor who has the highest win % over a number of events. With it having been determined that for January the requirement of this will be 4 Events. Due to this being the fourth event of the year, we have now reached a point where some predictors will be eligible to win the KOTM at the end of the month. There % will be calculated using their best four differential finishes over the month of January. A table will be posted for this further down the page.

I can now offer up the final standing for Event #4 - with all predictors eligible to win the 'green belt'.

We have a standout winner for this event which means @El Jefro Blanco who tops did so with a a solid score of 11-4. This sees him claim the 'green belt' for what I believe is the third time.

The event also played host to a #1 contender's match between Blaine, The Fourth Wall & Wiseman. With Fourth claiming the best score of the trio, they advance as the new #1 contender for the WPC Grand Championship and will challenge Chris at a future date.
