Apparently they get the job done just like an actual computer, I was wondering if anyone here uses one and if you do, which one would you prefer?

Back in like 2010 I built a mini pc as basically a media device. I was big into torrents and i downloaded all my movies/tv to it.

They are perfectly fine for that but obviously you wont be doing heavy gaming on it.

I had one for a brief while, it was pretty good and they are quite ideal if you don't have a ton of desk space. Mine had an SSD in it, so the booting times and everything were pretty good. Only reason I prefer a Tower PC is because I like having more freedom to upgrade it and what have you.

I think Mini PC's are great if you're not too interested in gaming but just want to browse the internet and stream videos.
