Sadly no surprise, looked grim since day 1. Unbelievably sad, addiction is nothing to mess with and people need to stop making jokes about those suffering ( no one here, speaking in general). RIP

I'm so glad I stopped reading social media. There really is some disgusting people out there.

It's always heartbreaking to lose someone to addiction, knowing they would still be here with us if they didn't go down that path. It's just really sad. It can really take over a person completely.

First time I heard DMX on a mixtape was Get at Me Dog back in 97.....his rawness, his voice and lyrical content was a match made in heaven for an angry kid who grew up on a reserve.

Been a fan since day one....I still have the Source magazine that has him in the Unsigned Hype section and still own It's Dark and Hell is Hot CD I bought when I was 13.

He had his demons, he was problematic.....but he was talented and only a few people in rap can lay claim to being better.

Rest In Power Dark Man X......I'm a be rocking your shit until I'm pushing up daisies.

Yesterday was such a weird day to see his passed away and then people saying he didn't then finding out coming home from work that he did pass away it almost feels like multiple punches to my gut the past few days. I know addiction it's plagued my family for years claiming lives. When I see this I know I made the right decision in my life to never turn to Drugs or Alcohol because I don't want to cause this pain to my family.
