Comedian Kathy Griffin has surgery for lung cancer but says she has never smoked

A representative said the operation "went well and as planned." Griffin said before the procedure that doctors are optimistic about her recovery.

Yeah there's definitely plenty of reasons you can get it without smoking, never got this logic too much but I guess there's frustration that you "did what you're supposed to" and still got sick bc the media does present it like smoking is the only way to get it.
