True detective has exactly one good season, which is amazing...but I seriously question the tastes of people voting against Futurama here. shameful really

Yeah that first season of True Detective was amazing but I ended up getting bored with it. As mad as I am about Hulurama (I've ranted enough), Futurama is still a strong contender for my all time favorite animated show.

Side question : how do u feel about Disenchantnent ? I really like it but it's also the only story driven show he's done n I know thats been jarring for a lot of ppl

I was very excited for it but I've stopped watching it. I liked the first two seasons fairly well. If I'm remembering correctly, I feel like the third season basically ended the same way the second season did, and then I probably watched a couple more episodes of the fourth season and then gave up. I definitely wanted to like it more than I actually did like it. I love Eric Andre and Abbi Jacobson and of course John DiMaggio, but yeah, idk. Felt like things were developing a little too slowly and the jokes were more sparse than Simpsons and Futurama, it lost my attention eventually.

I didnt love the 3rd season either and I agree it felt a bit sameish and didnt progress much. i would nudge you to check out the latest one that just came out tho. I thought it was really good , story wise. I think it might be over too after the way it ended
