This film was really nice. Great visuals, 70's setting, fun characters and an on point soundtrack. It's really been a while I feel like where I was this engrossed and moved by a coming-of-age film. This was on the level of films like Eighth Grade, Booksmart and Edge of Seventeen for me. All of which I absolutely loved. I found the story in this to be really relatable as somebody who grew up moving around a lot with my parents a lot and different schools. Never feeling like I was ever fully settling in until I was much older. Fully adored the cast in this movie, Rachel McAdams is one of my absolute favourites, I always love her in anything. I thought Abby Ryder Fortson was really likeable and charming in the leading role. Very fun heartwarming film that I'd recommend to anybody. Really one of those that just makes you experience every kind of emotion.
