Paul Heyman, along with an unkown financial backer bought all of the trademarks and rights to the properties that once belonged to ECW. Heyman then moved to try to secure a venue for the company to start with. Before he knew it though, he received a call saying the Island Garden in West Hempstead, New York was now property of ECW. The next problem Paul faced was how he would put a roster together, and pulled the entire company together. After weeks of negotiations Heyman finally pulled an employee list together

The company's weekly show will be called ECW Wednesday Night Hardcore. Paul Heyman has worked a one-year deal with FOX Sports to show Hardcore on your local FOX affiliate at 9PM EST. ECW is trying keep everything under wraps until the first show but Mr. Heyman did announce the Main Event for the company's first PPV, Ultimate Jeopardy. It will be an ECW alumni Elimination Chamber Match where the winner is granted a full contract with ECW. The competitors will be temporary contracts until the event. The match features: Juventud Guerrera, Lance Storm, Tajiri, Spike Dudley, Little Guido, and Sabu. A preview for the first Wednesday Night Hardcore will be out soon.
