Ron Garvin won the NWA title from Ric Flair on September 25th 1987 in Detroit, MI. He lost the title on November 26th 1987 at Starrcade.

Thought I would be alone here going for Eddie Edwards. But hes my favorite RoH star. And man, hes just amazing.

I literally marked out when he won the title.

Yeah surprised a bit, but went Eddie as well. Garvin got the title only because he was willing to lose to Flair at Starrcade.

Good point Scott, Garvin was a mercy giving. Edwards is easily the top guy in ROH, even over Richards, and yes I marked out when he won too.
