that is a big part of it. His style has never been about telling us what moves were being done it was about weaving the narrative of the show throughout the broadcast, while also directing traffic to cohorts. 2 things he has been outstanding at for a long time.
that's when he really became nearly universally loved.
Even in the 2010's he was doing his job and doing a damn good job of it. You may not have liked the style that he was doing but he was doing what he was asked to do and doing it well. And I'll be honest in hindsight I kinda liked Heel Cole...
honestly not even one of. Just the best. the hate he gets is crazy. Yeah he wasn't very good back in the Attitude Era. No shit he was greener than goose shit. But he's been far and away the best for many years now.
Shinsuke has literally been one of the best promos the past like 5 months or whatever. Once they let him speak his native language his shits been outstanding.
