Vince is pretty inconsistent when it comes to height though. Pushes AJ Styles but doesn't push someone like Titus. So maybe it is based on merit and blindly on height
Styles winning the US title would mean absolutely nothing. Every time he wins a miscard belt he proceeds to have a mediocre reign and puts no one over. I feel the same way with Kevin Owens. Just put these guys in the main event scene were they belong.
