    It can't be season 6 because they stopped saying season 5? That makes no sense. RAW and Smackdown have seasons that WWE never mentions on air. NXT can still be its own show, without the competition aspect, and be in its 6th season whether they refer to it that way or not on air.

Just because it may be referred to as a season doesn't mean the show isn't dropping the competition aspect and becoming more like WWE's other programming.     They sort of have to, no? If I recall correctly, Brock signed up for only a small amount of appearances, and used most of them with Cena.

    I agree somewhat. Jericho's easily one of my favorites, but while he was away doing the rock star thing (which I commend him for), he said he wouldn't come back unless he could do something different with his character. But he's basically reprised his previous role. I still find him...
