    WWE couldn't even get Rusev not to cut his hair. They don't have the power you seem to think they do. WWE might have OK'd his changes, because they probably thought he knew his character enough to pull it off. That's on Ziggler for not knowing his character.

    I don't think WWE wanted him to be John Cena, but he did win the IC, MITB, World Heavyweight, etc. He just kept getting hurt. Then he changed his gimmick.
