    Whilst probably true, I was never as big of a fan of Prince Devitt as I was AJ Styles. Especially Bullet Club version AJ Styles. That's just me I guess. I'm all for some Balor BC if it means no more ridiculous face painting and as long as it is not called Balor Club. That's weak sauce.

    You know it. It wouldn't surprise me to see them almost win this tournament, get screwed by The Dudley Boyz and then get put over at the Payback event. It looks WWE are still planning on doing Emma and Beck Lynch! It's on fire!

    I don't think they really "pushed" him on that. He was one of many ideas they had in mind. And I think Bischoff wanted an "outsider" anyway. If Sting had been given the full court press, he would have. He had many heel turns later.

    I don't think he's ready to carry the company as a champion, but I do agree he could be doing just a smidgen more to really push ticket sales. His match with Triple H at Roadblock had the fans baited in breath.

    Steamboat wouldn't have that protect my character quirk had he not broke in when he did. If he was told by Russo, or Heyman or whoever he was turning heel to move the story forward, he would. Well, I can't argue the fans haven't gotten worse.

    It wasn't because of the fans, it was because promoters believed in their own protection of Kayfabe. I promise you someone in some promotion would have eventually turned Steamboat had he cut into the business after the dawn of the television and monthly PPV.

    I mean maybe not from this point forth, but he was a heel not that long ago. Dean Ambrose is insanely over, though, so I could possibly see him not. He doesn't get mixed reactions, he's the guy. It would be a shame as he takes crazy bumps as a heel.

    You don't want your babyface getting mixed reactions. You want them to get angry when the heel beats them up, not cheer when the heel makes their face bloody. I don't mind Reigns right now, because his "I'm the Guy" line is gold, but at some point WWE needs to get the fans behind him or turn him...

    Rock turned a few times and it was usually because he was starting to get booed or "stale." Steamboat also came from a more Kayfabe protected era. I doubt he would have survived today never turning heel.
