    At least, when it was taker with a steel chain confronting him next to the chain-link fences in the back, I could feel like it was justified, but it’s like Brock already dropped this dude on his head.

    My least favorite attitude era guy that stuck around too long was hard-core Holly. I can’t explain it, but I saw nothing in that guy and he was constantly being used and it drove me nuts.

    I never heard that CMLL story before but I’m glad he quit over nonexistent dates because he fucking sucked in TNA. He was not the vibe.

    Ironically enough, despite flopping as hard as he did, he was one of the longest standing attitude era wrestlers still around until he was released in 2009 or whenever it was.

    He was a decent worker, so I’m not gonna pretend like he couldn’t put on a decent match and he had a character that he knew how to work with. Which usually is enough for me. Just didn’t connect with it for whatever reason. I still think he probably should’ve done more than he did 2000 but I’m OK.

    That definitely didn’t help. He was doomed. I do know Russo really fought hard for him, Venis and Jarrett. Venis too was neutered in 2000.

    I don’t think anyone’s career went down the toilet faster by a booker leaving then D’Lo. No one outside of Russo, apparently saw anything in him in the WWF.
