    I definitely didn't see more of Rock beyond being a midcarder. I knew WWE wanted more, but he was stuck with D'Lo, Mark and Godfather at a time none of them were doing much. That ladder match was a starmaker and honestly I'm surprised it took another year for Hunter to get that push, too.

    Sure. The ladder match with Hunter at SummerSlam was great. Which felt like a showcasing of two of WWE's futures in one match. And you can't talk about the attitude era without mentioning the fire series of matches between Rock and Foley between Survivor Series and Mania. I don't think two...

    Accusing is a strong word, but I mean you made an anti-Rock thread when you're currently debating about draws like Rock in other threads with him.

    I'm not as big of a Rock fan the gent above me, clearly, but my favorite match off all-time is Rock/Austin at X-Seven. Because of the story told in that squared circle and the emotion I feel when they tell it no matter how many times I've heard it.
