Star Trek (2009)
So this film just turned Star Trek into a mass appeal, popcorn flick
that everyone could enjoy. I think it works...although the follow up
was pretty disappointing.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (2019)
I...I think I liked it?
I'm not sure...
Let me think about...
The "Home Invasion" scene had me nearly in
tears laughing despite how violent it was...&
Margot Robbie was incredibly beautiful as
Sharon Tate.
Dark Was The Night (2014)
A cold, stark, artistically shot, modern day creature feature...
Seriously where has this film been for the last 5 years of my
life? This is the kind of film I would make if I was actually a
filmmaker.
Awesome Out Of 10!
Star Trek: First Contact (1996)
Its definitely one of the more "brainless" Trek films...& it does feel
like two separate Next Gen episodes squashed together...BUT...
it is still VERY entertaining & the effects still hold up REALLY well.
The Borg Queen is an interesting "idea" but I'm not sure...
Dark City (1998)
I'd like to think the "Makers" of the Matrix, Inception & Dr. Strange
all saw this film...and really enjoyed it. I personally think its great...
but I understand its not for everyone.
Tales from the Crypt Presents Demon Knight (1995)
Possibly one of the most fun & underrated horror films of all time...
plus I owned the soundtrack when I was younger. Billy Zane is at
his very best in this film & the cast in general may surprise many
of you from how many of them you recognize...
Other people here still watch movies right?
Anyway...
Child's Play (2019)
So...Aubrey Plaza did not look old enough to play
the mother of the lead child. When I look at Aubrey
I don't think "Mother" I think "Please step on my balls
& tell me I'm dirt"
This film was okay...
I mean it was...
DOOM: Annihilation (2019)
It.is.absolutely.terrible!
And its not terrible because the "lead" is a woman...although
her acting is as bland as oatmeal...its terrible because its a
cheap piece of trash made simply so a studio can keep the
film rights to the franchise.
Seriously...this film is on...
