  1. Fuji Vice

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

I'm going to see it in IMAX 3D tomorrow for as immersive an experience as I can get. We'll see if that kicks it up a notch. Not surprised you enjoyed it more than the midnight screening, I've never been a fan of those as they always seem to throw me a bit off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

Well, it wasn't perfect of course, but I'm struggling to think of anything I really disliked about the movie. More often than not, something glaring sticks out to me immediately, be it the horrible fight sequences from Man of Steel or the continuity errors of The Dark Knight Rises. Outside of...

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

Got upgraded to the VIP theatre, this has already given the movie an extra point for me. I should also give myself some points for rocking out the red Adidas! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

Tbh, since Iron Man 3, I've learned to keep my expectations low so as to avoid being disappointed. It's helped me enjoy these movies more so I can't imagine hating on it too much. However, if I do, you'll be the first to hear about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

There may be another one coming from me tomorrow, you know how I love to rip apart the comic book movies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Fuji Vice

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

Going to see it tomorrow but it pulled in just over $187 million this weekend, good enough for second place all-time in terms of openings, only behind, yep, The Avengers, which did $207 million back in 2012. Also, it's almost at $627 million worldwide and hasn't even opened in China yet. Good...
  7. Fuji Vice

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

Those are just US numbers. Gone with the Wind actually did over 200 million in the rest of the world so that would definitely help it kill Avatar dead. Star Wars and its 314 million would as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Fuji Vice

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

Yep, it's second. The rest of the top 10 is... 3. The Sound of Music 4. E.T. 5. Titanic (way to go Cameron!!) 6. The Ten Commandments 7. Jaws 8. Dr. Zhivago 9. The Exorcist 10. Snow White Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Fuji Vice

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

I could also toss out that if you adjust for inflation, Avatar doesn't crack the top 10. In fact, Gone with the Wind earned more than double what Avatar did, which means that basically everyone who could afford a movie ticket in 1939 went to see it. Everyone.
  10. Fuji Vice

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

    1. Avatar 2. Titanic 3. The Avengers 4. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II 5. Frozen 6. Iron Man 3 7. Furious 7 Btw, that's worldwide. As far as US domestic gross goes, Furious 7 hasn't even cracked the top 50.
  11. Fuji Vice

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

I'll consider it a minor flop if it doesn't gross as much as silly Furious 7. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Fuji Vice

    Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

The original was amazing and I have no doubt that this one will be even better. That being said, I think the only question I have at this point is whether it can take a shot at the box office title and dethrone Avatar? For that to be possible, it would have to gross close to $1.3 billion more...
