To make the whole thing even more eerie, The Game gimmick was meant for Owen Hart. -

What makes this even more of a tragedy is this stunt was the result of a gimmick that very few people understood. They seriously punished after he refused to do the proposed "Owen having an affair with Debra", and it ultimately cost his life. -
