If it's not Punk but still a decent surprise this is the right way to do it, if it's Punk (which at this point I don't give much of a chance) then I'd have expected some kind of tease but they handled it the same way last year with the Mercedes rumors fairly responsibly to manage people... -

If it's at Survivor Series it could be as simple as Shinsuke attacks someone already booked as his next target after their match. Could be Gunther -
