    I don't think he wanted to damage his image without an angle to be heel and I think WWE quickly realized they not only needed to pivot but they could lean into it for an angle and to take away distraction from the bad press they also took no questions it seems. unless thats happening later...

    it was the best possible pivot back they could do. I have my criticisms of the event (I felt it was pretty damn boring myself for 99% of the time). But as far as course correction story wise - well done
