    It was actually World Wide Wrestling Federation, from 1963-1979, and before that, it was an entity known as Capitol Wrestling Corporation from 1953 until 1963 (and still owned WWWF/WWF proper until Vince's Titan Sports bought it in 1982).

    But yeah, telling someone to "google it" is very lazy and inconducive to argumentation and debate. It's why in political stuff, when one side just says, "google it", it usually ends with the debate being dismissed entirely as a waste of time and unproductive.
