    It probably means the newer games weren't that good or as good as the older ones to begin with.

    I think because it's newer, people are tending to gloss over a lot of the problems that RE2make has and just are voting it because "oh shiny new game".

    As far as this particular version of Resident Evil 2 is concerned... Grand Theft Auto III is far and away superior.
