Strangly like the other one this is strange, because looking back the Iron Man was a big let down, considering the all the hype and the two guys in, but of couse it is still better than the stinker WM11 which never should have gone on last anyway.

I don't know what you're talking about since the pace both men put into this match was off the charts. Especially for the time, it was remarkable. It also wasn't like Flair and Steamboat where they would do the same spots from time to time duringtha match and monly got better towards the end. Which just showed what great shape both men were in.

Also Bret's selling of Sweet Chin Music was the best ever.

I think the booking of the match was a bit suspect, it had its moments, but I think it was a mistake to wrestle at such a slow pace, and to have no falls in an hour was just lazy booking. Overall it just didn't have the emotion you would hopeful.

No idea how this is even a debate, but Hart Michaels was a classic. It was a bit before my time, but I remember watching this last year on my hour free period on the computer absolutely amazed.

No contest again. Michaels vs Hart for sure. Saved a pretty weak Mania. I actually liked how there were no falls in the one hour time limit, it showed how evenly match these two were and also how much hatred they had for each other that they didn't want to be seen as inferior to the other by losing a fall to them.

I think people just remember it as a classic because of how good the two were as workers, and because it was the first one hour Iron Man match. I loved the hype and what the match was based on, but I just think if you go back and look at it now, its no classic.

And just to clear this up, I never said it was debate over which match was the best between these two, just a debate over weather the Iron Man was a classic.

Not sure I agree Keith obviously it didn't live up to the hype but I felt for wrestling the WWE style for an hour which is almost impossible it was about as good as it was going to get.
