Absolutely NOTHING

The thought of fucking up the planet by leaving our lights on sounds quite funny.

Although having a hi-res picture of a black planet sounds quite cool. Too bad most of the world doesn't give a shit.

I'm more keen for an electrical hour. See how many power outlets the world can blow out in one hour.

Climate Change isn't real.

How about those gas emissions from the bombs that the middle east drop on each other? Yeah. Tell them to stop before I turn out my bloody lights.

only lights off? :shifty: I can just imagine how wonderful the scene will be when the lights are off and a bomb blows at that exact time :)

I find it hilarious that some people actually believe that turning off our lights for 1 hour, will undo all the damage that has been done to this planet.

Are those assclows from WWF (The pandas, not the wrestlers) behind all of this?

Sir, how about Melbourne this time around? :shifty:

If we can't tell them to stop, how about we stop ourselves? If we don't stop blaming each other for the 'gas emissions' then I have no idea how this planet will survive.

Imagine having that in our children's History books.

It can be a remarkable achievement but sadly, people aren't willing to change..

It certainly won't undo the damage that has been done to our planet. But it can definitely minimize the damage that is to be done over the next quarter of this year or so.

And yeah, the WWF is behind this.

As a matter of fact they are.

And, personally I'll be doing as I normally do. Shutting off all my lights and shit for like 8 hours when I go to work and shut everything off again for a good 6-7 hours when I go to sleep. What more do these environmental hypochondriacs want from me?

I'm not overally eco, but I do my bit. Turn off all the lights when in bed or at work. Recycling and stuff. I do what I'm told. What I don't bother with is eco light bulbs and stuff. They're shit. And they never work. :smh

Ah, now I understand. Having our lights off for an hour is going to counteract having them on for thousands of hours. Makes sense to me, although my Mathematics definitely isn't the best it could be, I'm sure it'll work.

The only place in Oklahoma that is really doing it is at OU's main campus in Norman...I'll probably keep my lights on though (if I'm home, I'll probably have a baseball game)
