I am not a dc or marvel fanboy, I tend to like both comics series and I was highly looking forward to watchmen and imo I blew the blue dick shown so much. Watchmen felt dragged out and very slow imo and it tells the same moral story i have seen/heard about a million times. It does nothing new and i honestly still don't know why i say through the movie. It was also jumbled, there was little explanation done and they tried to fit to much in the 3 hours and it turned into crap, if they did in parts were they can explain more and have more in the movies i think it would have been better. but again thats just my opinion.

i liked how overall graphically pretty the movie was

If this was a fan services and they pleased the fans good for them but as a movie for the people who didn't read the comic/graphic novel there was nothing to enjoy but the brief fight scenes and the look of the movie. As for batman, u dont need to see any other movie or read the comics it was enjoyable and understandable just watching it.

Thats exactly what it was. Fanservice, I was one of the many people who doubted the movie would succeed. If you know the history about Watchmen. The movie will seem a lot better, and it'll make more sense. I believe it was a great movie. They did their best to stay true to the comic even with cutting some parts out. It most definitely isn't for newcomers. I just wish they didn't cut out the squid part. Anyway, yeah i'd expect you to say TDK is better.

I don't care how good Watchmen is. The Dark Knight is the best.

It probably won't be good to you. If you haven't read the comic or know the backstory, then the movie isn't for you. You know how many people were dissatisfied by Watchmen. Those were the people who didn't know shit about it, and decided to see the movie because it looked “cool”

Basically going to go see Watchmen without knowing much about it, is like playing MGS4 before playing MG, MG2, MGS1, MGS2, MGS3, and MGSPO

I know some weird kid who has only played MGS4 and he loves it. I've never played MGS2 but I know what's going on.
