I agree to an extent. Its obvious that Triple H has no problem putting people over in the right circumstances. He singlehandedly created Orton and Batista. Thats no overstatement.

A lot of people will say he buried Orton, which is not really true. Triple H helped get Orton to main event status. Triple H was going to solidify Orton as a legit main eventer. The original plan for Wrestlemania 21 was for Orton to chase Triple H and take the belt back. However, Orton couldn't get over as a face. So Triple H had no choice but to go over Orton and move to plan B. There is no sense in Triple H losing to a guy or even making a guy look good who obviously wasn't ready for a face run at that time. Case in point, Triple H had no problem getting pounded by Batista three straight PPV's when Batista showed the ability to take the ball and run with it.

I guess what I am trying to say is that Triple H walks a fine line. He is willing to put the right people over, but on occasion he has to destroy some people to keep himself at a level where a victory over him will still mean something.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

I would just like to point at that the thread creator used the word "losed." Therefore, he is an idiot and his opinions should not be seen as valid. Thank you.

I will only count Batista & Cena and possibly Orton, because the others were already well known at the time that Triple H lost to them. None of them were up and coming guys, which is essentially what "putting over" means. When was the last time he lost clean to Funaki?

When was the last time Funaki was up-and-coming lol.

Nah HHH can put people over and does. I don't think many of his title reigns have been because he is married to Steph, more often then not its because its good storyline wise, or hes the best available option.

I am not denying HHH puts people over. Like I have said before, he put THE RIGHT people over, and more often than not, the one he put over get bigger and more over than The Game himself.

I am not denying that, but I am denying the lousy argument made by Evil Austin to come to that conclusion. And apparently even he knows that, as he has stayed the hell away from this thread since then

Triple H buries other wrestlers all the time.
I dont watch WWE much any more. But i was watching the famouse matches were TRIPLE H Puts Shelton Benjiman Over!
I could not believe what i was watching. This whole time ppl have raved about how great he was for doing that.
Triple H lost by freak flukes. Go back and watch the matches. They were made too look like freak wins for Benjiman.

HBK vs HHH at Summerslam was allso bullshit. They built the match up that the REF hated Triple H and made a fast count. The match more or less ended with HHH losing to a quick roll up and fast count.
ADDED: (i dont blame him for doing it like this. HBK was not evan a full time WWE wrestler.)

Or the time Chris Jerhico won the World title on RAW by another fluke.
HHH then got the belt becuase it was a fast count.

Yesterday i was watching an old No way Out video.
Chris benoit vs HHH.
Great match. I thought it was a great 1 on 1 match. After watching it twise i realised that again it was another burial match.
Triple H out wrestles benoit at the start.
Triple H kicks out of the flying head but twice.
Triple H gets out of the Cross face and wins.

Triple H never put over Goldberg? When?
Goldberg was allready the undeafeted monster when he arrived in WWE. No matter how big your ego was i dont think any one would have complained to losing to a wrestling power house like goldberg.

Same with Austin in 2000.

Any way the real Triple H area began after 2000.
geting knocked out in the RR doesnt count.
Any thing from before 2000 doesnt count. He didnt have the political pull back then. He put batista over becuase they are friends.

yes, Triple H will lose to other big name Maineventers when the time is right.
But between then he just keeps on burying other and younger wrestlers over and over again.

Because a main-eventer should lose to a man who just came out of a midcard tag act by taking his finisher and playing dead. Shelton was made to look like he had Triple H's number and that he was a threat to Evolution. He went on to beat Flair at Backlash clean too.

HHH then got the belt becuase it was a fast count.

Isn't this just a wonderful example of how Triple H makes himself look Godly?

Sorry i mis spelt.
Let me correct my self TBKB.

Chris Jericho won the title off Triple H. But it was a fast count.
So it didnt count... He got his belt back. The match didnt count. Triple H was unfairly pinned.
Any match he does lose its allways a fluke or some how unfair.
You cant deny he squashes other guys all the time?

Fairly sure he hasn't won at WrestleMania since WrestleMania X8.

Lol? The time he lost to Jericho was long before he even married Stephanie..
