Why?

Big Show was announced as the New #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. Yes, I know in the storylines etc. it may be suitable but the Big Show, why? This is not only Wrestlemania, it's Wrestlemania 25 and he can't put on a five star match.

I'm hoping there's a swerve..

Show deserves it. WWE already betrayed their long build up feuds by ending JBL vs HBK to make HBK vs Taker, so it's appropiate that they went with the storyline long teased feud of Edge vs Show instead of the marquee match.

Besides, they are doing Cena vs Show vs Edge, which more than likely will be above 3 stars. Show always delivers and when he is motivated it will be even better.


PS- Orton vs Angle vs Rey kicked ass

I think there will definately be a swerve. It'll end up being Cena vs Edge vs Show.
I think the reason they added Show, was so that they could feature Big Show vs Edge on SD, and Cena vs Edge on Raw. Somehow they'll put Cena back in it, but I don't mind Show being in it as well.

Angle vs Orton vs Rey was pretty damn good. The only problem is that it got under 10 minutes.

Cena will most likely be added to the match, but I have to admit.. I laughed my ass off at the total silence from the crowd when Show was announced as the number one contender.

Yup, it's obvious WWE loves them some triple threats at Mania right now. It's not all that bad. As least it adds a little variation to the match. If it were Cena/Edge we would have heard the bitching that they've done that 100000 times. However I will agree this whole feud aside from the nice Elim Chamber swerve really don't seem Mania worthy in terms of build.

I think we're gonna get Edge vs. Show one on one at Mania and Cena vs. Jericho one on one. I think next week Jericho will bring out another legend to humiliate them and Cena will come to their defense, Jericho will give the promo of his life that will make Cena want to cry and then we get a very good match at Mania. Show can put on a good match with the appropriate motivation and opponent so him and Edge should be pretty good.

I see triple threat match with Edge, Show, Cena. I'm not that bothered if show is or isn't in the match TBH. If he is it adds That bit of variation instead of one on one match. If he isn't we get Cena vs Edge yes we have seen it before but it's not like the two put on a shit match. So either way i don't really mind. But They ain't gonna leave Cena out of WM25 that is for Sure. Hell they wont leave him out of a Main event match either. So my money is on Triple threat or One on one with Edge.
I really don't see Cena vs Jericho but thats just my opinion. If that happens then it's just a crappy no thought out shot together match. If anything i think Austin Vs Jericho or at a big push maybe Thee immortal one may grab him self a match with Jericho. Id prefere Austin though.

Here is what I think;

The WWE is hoping for Austin and Rourke to sign on. Their ideal card would be Big Show vs Edge, Cena vs Austin, and Jericho vs Rourke. If Rourke doesn't sign on it will be Jericho vs Austin and the World title match will become a triple threat. If Austin and Rourke don't sign on it will be Big Show vs Edge and Cena vs Jericho.

They are keeping their options open at the moment.

We can get Austin vs Jericho and Hogan vs Cena.. Or Austin vs Cena and Jericho vs Hogan.

Assuming that Cena doesn't get into the MITB match.

Yeah right now the current hopeful plan is Jericho vs Hogan since it still doesn't look like Rourke will join. Which right now hope he doesn't, the way Jericho is going right now it would make more sense for him to fight Hogan.

I'm curious on how they will bring about the Austin vs Cena match if Austin does sign on.

On a sidenote, I'm surprised they didn't have Sim Snuka run out to help his dad. That could of at least lead up to Jericho having a match with Sim, beating him of course but still....
